About Us

Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (IOC code: BLZ) is the National Olympic Committee representing Belize. It is also the body responsible for Belize’s representation at the Olympic Games.

Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association was founded in 1968 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the same year.


To uphold and promote Olympic values, principles and ideals and contribute to building a successful sport system in Belize; whereby all Belizeans can safely participate, enjoy and succeed at all levels of sport and physical activity.


Belize will be recognized as fielding teams of internationally competitive athletes in multiple sports, and as having an efficient and effective sport system, supporting and developing National Federation (NFs).
